I had a great weekend visiting Bob in Chicago! Throughout the weekend Bob and I were able to catch up with our friends Joe and Tori before the left town and spend some quality time together. On Sunday we went to the John Handcock Observatory. After traveling all the way up to the top (1,000 feet) we went ice skating on the top floor. The skating floor was super small but it was still cool! We also gained much knowledge about the building. Bob of course wanted to make sure he soaked up all the history he could and succeeded to read every single history fact.
Even though Bob had to work some over the weekend I found myself shopping, watching people around the city, and enjoying a warm cup of coffee at a local coffee shop. One of my favorite memories of the weekend was dinner on Sunday night at The Gage and then sitting at the bar late into the night talking. The weekend was just what I needed!!!
